Allianz Technology Trust (ATT) won the highly coveted Best Report and Accounts in the Specialist category. The independent judging panel commented on the report’s excellent use of pictures as well as its use of text and design in a creative way.
Despite some clouds hanging over the technology sector’s current leading names, the management team is highly enthusiastic about opportunities, with lead manager Walter Price commenting that “this is the best environment for technology investing for 15 years”.

ATT had a strong year last year, benefitting from sterling weakness but also good growth from underlying companies. Although so far this year the growth style has performed well, 2016 saw a marked shift from Growth growth to Value value as an investment style .
